Optional lesson texts

When you choose text alerts and check the permission box, Zac Shook Pickleball can send an automated approval or decline for that lesson request. The message may include a recording payment link. Lessons approved together share one confirmation text; otherwise expect one decision text per request; long messages may arrive in multiple segments. Message and data rates may apply.

Consent is optional and is not required to book or purchase. Choose email, text, or email and text for lesson decisions. Each additional player is listed for lesson planning; the main contact receives the notification.

Lesson opening alerts

Opening alerts are a separate, optional signup. Choose specific dates or any new opening, select Text or Email and text, enter your mobile number, and check the permission box. We send a confirmation text; open its link and confirm your choice before opening alerts begin. For Email and text, confirm each method separately; unsubscribing from one keeps the other active. Frequency varies with matching new or reopened times. Message and data rates may apply.

Only openings matching your confirmed choice are sent. A text does not reserve a time; request it on the lesson page, where availability may have changed. To change your dates, sign up again with the same number and confirm the new choice. Choosing text updates for a lesson request does not sign you up for opening alerts.

Stop texts or get help

Reply STOP to stop automated texts from this number, including lesson decisions and opening alerts. Reply HELP for messaging help. To receive texts again after stopping, reply START; sign up and confirm again if your opening subscription has ended. To cancel or reschedule a lesson, contact Zac directly as described in the cancellation policy. Automated texts do not replace CourtReserve or your private request status page.

How your details are used

Your name, contact information, lesson details, notification choice, and text permission are stored to manage your request and its updates. For opening subscriptions, we store your contact, chosen dates, consent record, confirmation status, and message delivery records. Zac can review these details in his private coach dashboard. Keep your request and subscription links private.

Twilio processes text delivery, Brevo processes email delivery, and Stripe processes recording payments. Mobile numbers and messaging consent are not sold or shared with third parties for their marketing. These service providers receive information needed to provide the requested service.

Request and payment alerts to Zac

When enabled, a new lesson request sends Zac the student’s name, requested times, and a private dashboard link. Multiple times submitted together are grouped in one text.

When enabled, a verified recording payment can send Zac a separate notification with the payer’s name and amount. Payment card details are handled by Stripe and are not included in texts.
